Willow Bend Installation
Willow Bend Environmental Education Center

During the spring of 2008, Prometheus Renewables worked with Willow Bend Environmental Education Center to donate
a 1.2 kW PV System. The system will provide 100% of Willow Bend's electricity needs. It was installed with
the help of volunteer alumni from previous DIY photovoltaics courses. The system was commissioned on May
31st as a part of Willow Bend's 30th anniversary celebration.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with the installation including Mike and Sherry
from Acorn Services in Flagstaff.
System Specifications:
- 7 Evergreen Solar 180 Watt modules totaling 1,260 Watts
- 1,800 Watt Solectria Grid-Tied Inverter
- Direct Power and Water Power Rail mounting system with Z Easy Feet for roof attachment
- Square D AC and DC disconnects
This system produces an average of 6 kWh per day.
