Our Projects
Prometheus Renewables has done several exciting and innovative projects related to solar
energy. Learn more about some of our most exciting projects:
- Willow Bend Installation
In early 2008, Prometheus Renewables partnered with Willow Bend Environmental Education Center
and donated a complete PV system that meets 100% of their required electricity needs.
- Museum of Northern Arizona Installation
This spring, Prometheus Renewables partnered with Kocisko Construction and Acorn Services to
install a 12.6 kW photovoltaic system for the Museum of Northern Arizona's Easton
Collections Center.
- DIY Home installation
Our owner, Jim Corning, installed a 2.5 kW Photovoltaic (PV) system on his own home.
- Electric Motorcycle
This motorcycle was first converted to electric power so that we could
test and evaluate different batteries, motors, and controllers. It has
grown into a really fun vehicle that is effective for trips into town,
and it's a real attention-getter, too.
